You could also do like some of the others are suggesting and ease into the new diet by winding down your carb intake with some fruit.
Truthfully, it isn't even an option for a lot of us. Hormones can play a major role in weight loss/gain and especially that stubborn belly fat as can stress hormones (cortisol). It's stock except for a K.
